Defining business intelligenceThis term is so interesting that it must be defined. Intelligence is reputed to be our capacity to solve problems. So, in this case, obviously, business problems. What is a business problem? It is getting a business to make money. Thatīs what businesses are for, making money for its investors. No one invests money to lose money. So the managers, who are the ones who should have this "business" intelligence, are the ones that should look over this. OK, so they get to work. There are many angles from which to view this: the financial, the production and sales, the human resources. They must take each one of these segments and design an intelligent management system for each one. Business intelligence at its best... Cheers! |
