Work stations in our companyWhen my wife Jan and I set up our real estate company wew had to make some basic decisions such as how to organize our work areas.We had big space divided in different areas. It was basically five large spaces. We had to decide whether to use the "big space" theory or the work station theory. We could have just put in work tables and chairs. All the filing cabinets in one area, one for the customers, and one for management, the rest common areas. The other theory, which we chose, is the work station theory. Each employee was put in a module with their filing cabinet, work table or desk and enclosed in a private area. It worked out real well! Blessings! |
