| Article: Why You Should Walk to the Office It is quite obvious that staying in an office and working for at least 8 hours a day in front of the computer has its adverse health benefits, the primary one being that your sedentary lifestyle may lead to unhealthy results for your body. Assuming that the work is not stressful enough to keep you all thin, it's not surprising if in a few months you end up larger than what you used to be before.Read the complete article here: |
| "Walk/Biking/Rollerblading - My exercies"
Last month, I rode my bike to my work almost everyday, around 45mins trip. I did rollerblading once but I was exhausted when I got there. Walking from Metro to work will be my choice in coming Oct. |
| I think it is really more beneficial if we try to go to work by walking. In that way, we can minimize using cars which increase air pollution in our surrounding. Hence, it will also preserve the beauty and cleanliness of our environment. In addition to that, it will also help us to keep our body healthy and strong. At the same time we can see good spots along the road. It is a good form of exercise. |
| I have to agree with what Marynor had said. Walking indeed is the best thing to do if you want to help lessen the pollution and get some good exercise all in one. Some do not want the idea because it is time consuming and of course, not all welcomes the sweat when they are supposed to be fresh and tidy upon arriving to their respective work places. But why not give it a try? |
| "Walking Home"
Don't forget to walk home too! If your walk is at least 30 minutes then you will be able to walk off a lot of the stress from work and make the transition from work to home life much smoother. |
| "Walk to the Office?"
I have tried this. But it was more stressful & hard to concentrate on work due to exertion. I my opinion if your work place is under 20-30 minutes walking distance, you should go walking. But if it is more than that I won’t suggest taking risk. |

I would also prefer walking to office and back to home. However, while going to office it is quite stressful and am in a hurry, whereas while coming back to home i walk once in a while. Cycling is one option i am thinking of right now. |
