I wanted to get an idea of how old was everyone when they made money off of a business. I was late at starting a business because I was 24.I wasn't aware that a person could start a business with little money and without a building. Everyone please share your feedback on this subject.

I was 14 when I first started a business. I use to bring candy and chips to school and sell them to the other students.

I started my first business at 19 when I was in college. I love to do hair and would do the other girls hair at the dorm. This help me to buy things I needed when I was in college.

I was 22 when I started a business and it was after I got my first job. I realized that I was going to need some extra money to supplement my income. So I started a party planning business on the weekends.

Thanks for sharing your stories! We live in such an advance age that kids are starting business at really early ages. For example, I know a fourteen year that plays the stock market. I think it's important to instill that independence in your child.
