Look below keypad - there is a tiny hole - put in paper clip and slide
it to the right - batteries are there for replacing. Just happened to me -
took some figuring out!

Our CHurch has some important papers inside our safe. However, the Battery has died and it appears that someone has removed the old battery. We don't know what kind of battery to purchase to replace the old one and we cannot open it to get to our papers. Everyone that use know the ins and outs about the safe has moved on without leaving instructions to the safe. Can you help us figure what type battery we need and how to open the safe with a dead battery and with no battery.
