Okay - most I've seen are requesting the manual for their Smith Corona - which seem to come far and few between when you've an older model.

SO - would anyone care to share how to reinsert the ribbon correctly on a Smith Corona Electra XT?

The type of ribbon it has is an old-time twin-spool with the white correction part. Not sure if the correction is to go up or down. Also - not sure how to get the - hmm - tab where the ribbon goes on to stay UP. Frustrating. :o)

I'M looking for the manual for a "Smith Corona - The Laminator LX 900" I received the machine from my son but they are not any information or pouch or any indication how to operate the machine. My son just past away in September 2008.

This was given by an agreement with Smith-Corona under an SEC filing in 1999. If you want manuals for any Smith Corona typewriter or parts for your SC typewriter no matter how old it is, Will Repair Service has it.

So here is a forum where people are searching for (not distributing or advertising anything). It looks like at least 6 people that desperate to find a source for instruction manuals for old type writers.

You claim to have such materials and instead of providing a link where these people could find them... you instead threaten everyone over something they aren't even doing.

Now if someone was offering for sale a manual or supply maybe you should complain... but I guess you have your work cut out for you there as everyone selling an old Smith Corona typewriter hopefully includes the manual with it.

Back to the point at hand, why don't you provide these people seeking manuals some help rather than threatening them.

I just acquired a smith corona IQ Intelligently Quiet typewriter. I don't
