I had the same problem and finally just cut a hole in the bottom with my moto tool. Inside I found the only thing keeps you locked out is an electric plunger pointing up on a really weak spring. I drilled a small hole in the face of the door 4" up and 10" over so a small wire could go in and push the plunger down. Worked great, but it occurred to me -if you dropped the safe and applied pressure on the handle a split second after impact- it might open with out damage. You can't apply pressure first as it will lock the plunger in place.You can take your safe to notary who will verify you own it and Sisco- the parent co will send you a key- which is hidden behind the plastic "Digital Electrical" medallion just below the key pad. This key will open it regardless. |
