I think ergonomics is a word that is used to sell over priced uncomfortable products.An office chair should provide support, not comfort. Go look for an old wooden straight back chair. It will be cheap, provide good support for your back and inspire your butt you get up now and then to move around. Since I started using one, many years ago, I haven't had not a hint of back pain, nor spent more than about US$10 on a chair... compared to a US$500 ergonomic chair that was so comfortable but left my back aching. |
