Does anyone use the cartridges that you just refill with ink? I don't use them just because that voids out my warranty with the company I received my printer from. Plus I am just too clumsy. I am sure I would mess something up.

I like using refilled laser cartridges (where someone else refills them). I wouldn't spend the time or deal with the mess of refilling inkjet cartridges (and I always buy generic).

I know at Office Depot if you buy its brand of ink cartridge it's supposed to be as good or better than the manufacturers brand of ink cartridge. While OD ink is cheaper for you OD is encouraging you to buy it because OD makes so much more money on it in so many more ways.

I have tried doing it myself before and did nothing but cause a giant mess. I end up just buying new ink and saving my receipts for deductions later.
