I work for a state hospital psychiatric unit. Due to problems with safety; with pens and pencils used as stabbing weapons, I am looking for pens and pencils that are only 3" to 4" long. I know that golf courses utilize such pencils but typically without erasures. I am looking for pencils with erasures.

How about calling the companies that make pencils and see what they can come up with?

i did a google search for golf pencils with erasers. I found them at a wedding shower place......20 for 3.69 cents.

You can probably find it with google... but you have to take care to formulate your search string carefully.

If I were you, I would just call around at the different office supply stores. Check out Staples, Office Max, Office Depot, etc. You may want to find their order line phone #. I used to work for Office Depot and we had everything you can think of.

I found all sorts of three- and four-inch pencils online. You can even have them imprinted with logos. I used golf pencil with eraser as my search terms.

Handwriting Without Tears, a writing program for children, sells golf pencils with erasers for half the price they sell for at staples with no erasers. They have a website. Just google it.
