Difference Between Mary Kay and Avon

I am a dealer of Avon products. I earn enough money doing those stuff to support my son's studies. I must say that through Avon, i can manage to buy the stuffs that I want, though my husband never fails to provide us with what we need.

However, I got introduced with Mary Kay, I just want to know the difference between the two (Mary Kay and Avon). Thanks a lot.

Both are direct selling businesses. However there are several differences. I have sold both and have found Mary Kay to be more beneficial to my goals in life for my family and myself. The main differences I have seen in both my experiences with the two companies is that Avon makes you place an order every 2 campaign periods (every month) in order to stay active and you don't make the profit that you expect. I sold $250 one time and only made $45 profit. Avon charges you for each customer you service $0.75 and they charge you a fee if you don't place your order "ON TIME" each campaign. What kind of company charges you to sell a product? You start your business to make money not lose money.

With Mary Kay not only have I found that I can be successful at selling a wonderful product, but I make 50% profit on everything I sell. I enjoy introducing women to a product that serves a purpose. Mary Kay is a supportive company and treats you like you are family for life!!

Mary Kay is not about selling a product to someone and never talking to them again. It is not about making easy money and moving forward. It is about building relationships, enriching lives, sharing hopes and dreams with other women just like you and showing them how beautiful they can be inside and out. I love sharing the Mary Kay opportunity with all the beautiful women that I meet. I have met many people from many different walks of life and Mary Kay has a way of enriching the lives of everyone that comes into contact with it. Mary Kay is a company that gives and keeps giving to its customers, direct selling force and the community.

In Mary Kay you can sell as little or as much as you want and you control when you place your orders. It is a great product and it is the only direct selling business that I have found that offers 50% profit on everything you sell, plus you can earn commission from those who you share the opportunity with. As well as you can earn great prizes like cars and the gratification of knowing you are making the world a better place one face at a time!!

I have never found the bonds, friendships, and family I found with my Mary Kay business in the Avon world... I hope this helps you to see the difference. The difference is not only the earning potential but the company itself as a whole.
