| Post: Venture-capital investments in IT companies plunged 40 percent to $2.18bn  IT venture capital dropped to $11.64bn (£8bn) for all of 2008, down 14.5 percent from the previous year, according to VentureSource. During the past year, IT investments posted growth in the first quarter and a slight decline in the second, but significantly dropped off in the second part of the year, VentureSource said. |
| I am surprised at the decline in IT investments in this part of the world. Just when the rest of the globe are pumping new capital into their IT to be at par with 1st world countries, the opposite is happening in Columbia. What could be the reason behind this? Did they find another route towards globalization or are they just against it? |
| It is quite upsetting to see that there is a lower percentage in the IT investment as it was stated in the post. I didn't realize it not until I read the post. However, in the modern society, I think IT services are still needed by many people for their own businesses or enterprise. I hope it will be remedied and increase after a few months. They can still gain it. |

Information technology is really a great investment because I do believe that computers, machines and robots are the tools where are up to in this year. | IT experts are really in demand nowadays because of rapid technological advancement. They are big help in improving and enhancing the services of various companies. I'm glad to share that my cousin is now an IT graduate. She is an expert computer geek. Every time I got troubles in my laptop, she will immediately come over to help. I believe that people with career like her will have a better future. |
